The Sinton Police Department is in need of your assistance. The following information is posted and an effort to elicit any information that may be helpful in resolving the following crime. The Sinton Police Department asks that any information you may have that can be helpful be reported to us immediately. In some cases, a reward may be offered for your information.
Case #08090029; Burglary of Coin Operated Machine/Criminal Mischief
On Thursday 09/11/2008 around 7:30 a.m., the Sud N Shine Carwash located at 627 W. Sinton Street was found to have been
the victim of a burglary. The burglars acted sometime between Wednesday evening, 09/10/2008, and the early morning hours
of Thursday 09/11/2008. The burglars attempted to steal all the coins from the bay carwash machines and one vacuum machine.
The burglars also attempted to break into the automatic car wash machine, but were unsucessful. It is believed that the
burglars got away with a minimal amount of money. However, they left thousands of dollars worth of damage during the
process. Police need your assistance in this investigation.

Case #08040018; Burglary of Building
On Sunday April 6th, 2008 during the early evening hours, a male suspect broke into the Taqueria Leon restaurant.
Once inside, the suspect went straight to the register and stole several hundred dollars in cash. The suspect
then fled the area. The suspect was wearing a white baseball cap, dark shirt with white vertical stripes, dark pants
(possibly jeans), and light colored shoes.

Case #08020128; Burglary of Building, Criminal Mischief
On Feburary 13, 2008, The Sinton Police Department received a report a burglary to a building at 309 W. Merriman Street. The suspects
entered the building through a faulty fence. Once inside, the suspect's caused damage to many items and stole items from the building.
One of the items damaged was a vintage vehicle that used to belong to a former county judge.
Sinton Police have collected evidence at the scene but no suspect at this time. The persons responsible for this
burglary may still be in their teens and enrolled in school.

Aggravated Robbery El Central Bar and Pat's U&I Bar, Case #07-01484, #07-01485

On Monday December 31, 2007 at approximately 4:30 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m.
El Central Bar and Pat's U&I Bar were the victims of an armed robbery. The suspect entered the bar and demanded money from the clerks. The suspect was
armed with a handgun. Once the suspect received the money, he fled the scene on foot. During one of the robberies, the suspect was seen leaving in a four door aqua
colored vehicle.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic Male who stands tall and has a goatee. The suspect is said to be in his 20's to early 30's. The suspect may have tattoos on both arms and a tattoo on his neck. The tattoo on the neck is believed to be that of a scorpion. The suspect was wearing a dark baseball cap, dark pullover/hoodie, and dark colored pants. The suspect could have altered his appearance since committing the robberies. |

Case # 07-00129; Burglary of Habitation
Sometime between Friday February 9, 2007 at 9:00 p.m. and Saturday February 10, 2007 at 1:00 a.m., an unknown
individual(s) unlawfully entered the apartment located at 700 Avenue D #7. Once
inside, the burglar(s) stole hundreds of dollars worth of jewelry and cash. Police are currently
investigating this case but still need your assistance. The jewelry taken include: a rope chain
necklace, a marquis cut diamond with several smaller baguette cut diamonds, two pairs of "shrimp"
style earrings (one large and one small), and a Star of David pendant containing 1 blue stone,
2 yellow stones, and 3 pink stones. All items of jewelry were made of yellow gold.

Case #06081803; Burglary of a Building (Little League Building)
Sometime between Sunday August 6, 2006 and Tuesday August 15, 2006 an
unidentified individual or individuals unlawfully entered the Sinton Little
League Building's concession stand located at the Rob and Bessie Welder
Park on North Highway 181. The subject(s) pushed out a plexi-glass window
and crawled into the building. Once inside, the subject(s) went directly
to the attached garage-like shed. The subjects then removed a brand new
70" orange colored Scag Turf Tiger riding lawn mower (model no.
#STT72A29KADFISS and serial no.
#B7100155) through the garage door to the shed. See
